Gossip Girl Promo: The Grandfather Part II
Remember how we were theorizing why Blair and Serena might be on the outs this week? Well, last night during “How to Succeed in Bassness,” we certainly found out. And it looks like next week’s episode of Gossip Girl, “The Grandfather: Part II” will just make matters worse for our favorite frenemies.
Check out the first promo for next Monday night’s episode, which airs at 9 PM on the CW, plus the synopsis for the episode, which throws yet another guest star into the Gossip mix.
Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) says something she regrets during her appearance on Jimmy Fallons (Fallon playing himself) talk show and tries to keep Dan (Penn Badgley) from finding out. With election day around the corner, Nate (Chace Crawford) suspects his grandfather (guest star James Naughton) will stop at nothing to get Trip (guest star Aaron Tveit) elected to congress. In the midst of another feud with Serena (Blake Lively), Blair (Leighton Meester) befriends a new it girl and takes her to an election night party at Chucks (Ed Westwick) hotel, hoping to make Serena jealous. Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star.
